Gems of Wisdom

1. Do not daisy chain power from one circuit board to the next. Wiring up all of the boards together can get very confusing. Use a central circuit board with power rails to connect to each circuit board.

2. When designing your software, don't be afraid edit or scrap state diagrams multiple times. It will help you reach an optimal and robot software design.

3. Do not unplug things from a circuit while it is on. It can create current spikes that can blow up other components in the circuit.

4. Have a fun theme for your robot and controller! It really adds to the excitement to the project.

5. Test your FARMER with other groups' DOG, and visa versa, multiple times.

6. You do not need to use perfect laser cut pieces and 3D printed parts to get a well functioning robot. These things can waste time, although they look pretty.
